Volare Swim Skins feature cutting edge technology and are entirely constructed from hydrophobic material to enhance hydrodynamics.

Constructed from premium Italian fabric, this ground breaking Swim Skin features a Teflon coated surface which reduces drag.

To further reduce drag all seams are thermo bonded with taped seams for additional strength. Removing stitching and ridge lines from the design creates a more hydrodynamic profile.

YKK Locking Zipper allows for a super fast transition. In the zip down position it is locked and secure. To take off simply flick the zip latch up and pull on a shoulder. The zip will then slide to the base, allowing for quick removal of the suit. No cords are required to operate this system.

The Volare Swim Skin is designed to be worn as a compression fit garment. Expect it to be a tighter fit than your wetsuit. Take your time and inch the garment up until you have it over your waist, you will need help zipping up the garment. Like a wetsuit it will feel looser in the water so a tight fit is a must. Remember it's not a race to put it on, just to take if off.

Goods product but could be improved on

Great product, a tight fit but if you get the sizing right you will enjoy it.
Its a pity it isn't FINIS approved, but I feel it could be.
My main reason for buying is for sun protection on my back where I cant apply sunscreen myself. Whilst it offers that protection, the tiny zipper happens to be in that spot, making it an absolute struggle to reach and zip up by yourself. I don't think we need a pull cord, but just a longer zipper would make this a better product.

Adam, thanks for the feedback this suit is primarily designed for triathlon and features a locking zipper. The locking Zipper is designed so that when its pointing down its locked and when its pointing up its unlocked and free to slide. When in the up position if you pull on the shoulder it will run all the way to the bottom for a faster transtion in triathlon. We don't put a cord or use a large zipper as our swim skin is designed for triathon and as such cords can be pulled 'accidentally' during triathlons swim starts can by other competitors. The suit is approved by US triathlon, however currenly isn't fina approved for swimming. Given sunprotection for swimming is essnetial I really like your idea and we could definately make a specific product that was fina approved, ideally chlorine resistant and easier to zip up.
